Atreyu Moniaga

Atreyu Moniaga is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the emotional and psychological terrain of human connection, behavior, and selfhood. His visual language—rooted in symbolism and intricate ornamentation—spans watercolor, oil, acrylic, and sculpture, reflecting a philosophical approach to image-making that is both personal and universal.

He has since exhibited alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as Ai Weiwei and Yayoi Kusama, and participated in a sold-out show with Gallery Carl Kostyál. His work has been featured in notable publications including Hong Kong Prestige and Ocula.

In 2013, he founded the Atreyu Moniaga Project, a free mentorship program for emerging illustrators and photographers. The initiative has nurtured a new generation of successful creatives, including WD Willy (Karafuru), Liffi Wongso (Sri Sasanti Gallery), Rapha Lisa (award-winning creative director), and Clasutta (Whitestone Gallery).
